--------------------------The Aaron Mangoff Experience-------------------- Singer/songwriter

We get so caught up in trying to accomplish things we want. We hardly step back and take the time to truly appreciate the journey, whether it’s where you want to be or not. It is truly amazing. Our ability to be aware that we are a part of this vast universe. Do we share a conscience with this earth and does it find us just as curious and beautiful as we find it?

I must admit I get so caught up in my ego, and what I want, where I want to be. I forget to just soak it in. I must promise myself I won’t ever forget this is amazing just as it is. Every sinking moment towards my end is a beautiful opportunity to be alive.

Episode 17 - Riley Breckenridge

The sequel is always better than its predecessor. Maybe not, but in this case that definitely holds true.  Riley came back to hang out with us again, and we discussed everything from Rick’s early radio days, to Thrice’s upcoming farewell.  We may have also discovered Riley’s hidden talent…..

In just a matter of days, we set off for the Farewell tour.
This might be one of the hardest tours I will have the opportunity to be a part of. Floods of emotions have come just thinking about our final load ins, load outs, encores, arguing over tones and pedals and post show local IPA’s/beef jerky snacks. From “First Impressions” to “Major/Minor” they have literally been a part of half of my life. So here’s to great shows, amazing fans and devoted believers of music; cheers.

What do you want?

I want to be prepared

For the loss of words, the loss of air.

I want to have control of my faith, of my soul.

I want to see direction in my life and otherwise.

I want to feel the closeness of someone I can trust.

I want to hear those words that measure my worth.

I want so few things…Hell, just let me sing my way through.

I want time to tell me where I’ve been.

I want time to tell me where I’ve wandered, what I’ve done, where I’ve gone and why I feel so bothered.

Keeping Busy.

Update:

It is now the end of march, so far things are looking up. I expect to keep that momentum going as much as I can, until the next project. Then I start again.

January, successfully pulled together my headlining Opera House show.

February I successfully didn’t throw up or pass out whilst opening for Hawksley Workman.

March I’ve started the recording process and should be all done and in hand by May 1st. It’s been awesome, working with Luke at the red carpet studio, at the new location in Orillia. And of course working with Cole at Cole Bennett Photography for the CD cover. The CD will be titled “You and I”

I have a wicked announcement to make in the near future so keep your ears open for that.

I’m also looking to book all over Ontario for November/October

As I mentioned before I’m booked for Mariposa Festival this year, though I’ve yet to receive the details as to when and where, that information will be posted within the next month or so.

Another song with Chris Levesque…

We went to my work and went into recording blind as hell, the main guitar is one take and the lyrics were just something in my cell phone I wrote one random day whenever ago. It was recorded on Chris’s computer so he got to take it home and edit and he hads such an atmosphere it makes the song. The ending is alllllll Chris’s doing. All I can say is I love it. LOVE IT!!!

I’m trying to stay music relevant but this is too good.

Mind Blown.

So I am forever grateful for Jackie Adams, who shared my video on a group on facebook called “No hope for the human race” and they reposted it and gave it a little blurb, I thought was definitely worth sharing. It was a very generous review indeed and I am stoked on it. Take a gander…

Congrats!
You just got featured on No Hope For the Human Race

Here’s what they said about you.

“As some of you may know, earlier today we asked people to email us videos of unknown independent artists who they believed should get recognition. I want to thank everybody for submitting the videos to us. We got a whole lot of great submissions and it was tough to choose. Some of the music was so good we will be posting them soon enough, as we do not want to spam so people with music. We had tons of talented submissions of all genres. All of the good music videos submitted will be added to the tab to the left of our page that says “Music that should be famous.”
This weeks winner for sure though is Aaron Mangoff. This song has an incredible sound. He has an amazing voice, well written lyrics and a wonderfully done video to back it up. It is amazing that this guy isn’t known, as he could be a powerful force in his music genre all day long. This video was uploaded in April last year and barely topped 3,000 views. That is just a shame. If you feel this unknown artist and would like to support him, he also has a website located under his video. Incredible job Aaron. I certainly hope people share this everywhere and get you heard. Watch the whole video. By midway through it you’ll be shocked to see what he looks like. He doesn’t look at all like you’d picture him.”
